Interesting article submitted by reporter David Hall.  This is a clear case of how money and power control the decision makers in Washington, D.C.  Current decisions made by the Department of Justice and the FCC spell the end of "net neutrality" and confirm the rise of corporate giants in determining communications policy.  The intent of this acquisition fever is to limit competition, maximize profit at the expense of service, and control what information the public gets.  All of these events remind me of Orwell’s "1984".  If you control access and distribution of information, you effectively control a nation’s people and its institutions.  Privacy and social mobility are becoming modern day myths.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
