Ham Radio is alive and well in Faribault
Southernminn.com
What is ham radio? It’s been around for about 100 years.

Russ Roberts‘s insight:

It’s nice to read strong, proactive articles about Amateur Radio.  Larry Larson (KR0K) does a good job of explaining the nature of amateur radio, how to get licensed, the type of equipment needed, the role of amateur radio operators in times of emergency, and the differences between CB and ham radio.  A good summary in only a few words.  Why don’t you do what Larry has done and write a short article of what Amateur Radio means to you.  Summit it to your daily newspaper or make an audio recording for a local radio station.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
