Colorado’s first week to host the W1AW/Ø portable station in celebration of the ARRL Centennial events has come and gone. This particular week was a busy week for me both at work and in the hobby of amateur radio.

Russ Roberts‘s insight:

A nice recap of Jerry Taylor’s (KD0BIK) role as host of the W1AW/0 portable station in Colorado.  The special callsign has been given to select amateur radio stations to celebrate the centennial of the ARRL. Jerry spent a busy week battling bad weather, maintaining an operating schedule as W1AW/0, presenting two Summits On The Air (SOTA) programs to area ham clubs, and, of course, managing to work at his full-time job.  Despite the pressure, Jerry said "It was a lot of fun!"  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
