Nice report from Alex Hill (G7KSE), who had an excellent day operating in the UKAC 2 meter/6 meter event.  Hill got a lot of mileage out of his portable station, thanks to help from a 5-element beam.  He was using only 10 watts output.  When conditions are good, QRP contacts can be most exciting.  The same holds true for 10 meters, which can show remarkable life even when propagation is poor.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
