Intel intros 8086 processor

Russ Roberts‘s insight:

Another edition of David Halls’s "This Week in Radio History."  The only thing I remember from this list is the introduction of the Intel 8086 processor.  Back in the day, I thought that device was quite an advancement in computer technology.  I also researched the 500kW CP for WLW.  Talk about power!  Nowadays, you don’t see many AM radio stations using that much of a "blowtorch" to reach listeners.  The internet reaches more people at a cheaper cost.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
