The mission of the 11 Flock 1c satellites is "to generate virtually high-resolution images of the Earth with resolutions of three to five meters."  The original cluster of 37 satellites was developed, designed, manufactured, and operated by "Planet Labs"–a San Franciso-based company.  11 Flock 1c satellites are in high polar orbit, while another constellation is orbiting between 240 and 400 miles above the earth.  About a third of the 37 satellites in the payload are carrying amateur radio transponders.  For details, visit http://www.dailywireless.org. Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
