Beckwith Chosen for Amateur Competition
Bartlesville Radio
Bartlesville resident and top amateur radio operator Mark Beckwith has been selected to compete in the World Radiosport Team Championship 2014.

A great example of a radio press release supporting amateur radio and the World Radiosport Team Championship. The article features a short biography of Bartlesville, Oklahoma resident and amateur radio operator Mark Beckwith, who has been chosen to compete in the 2014 WRTC  from 09 July-14 July in 16 New England locations.  Beckwith has been a ham radio operator since 1971 and has been involved in community service activities for many years.  According to the radio press release, WRTC "evolved as a method of practicing emergency communications, but also serves as a laboratory for technology innovations and experimentation…."  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
