Thanks to reporter David Hall for this strange tale from Austin, Texas.  According to "the Austin Chronicle", has fined Walter and Rae Olenick $15,000 for operating an unlicensed radio station–"Liberty 90.1 FM."  The Olenicks claim the FCC have no jurisdiction in Texas and that United States laws don’t apply to them.  In a similar case, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the FCC had the authority to issue a Forfeiture Order.  It takes all kinds of people to make life interesting and frustrating for those of us who follow the law.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
