International: New Ham Radio Regulations in Place in Thailand, Germany Gets 4 Meters Briefly

Here’s some updated amateur radio frequency data from the ARRL and the Southgate Amateur Radio Club.  In Thailand, 27,000 amateur radio operators will get access to the 6 meter band (50 MHz), expanded spectrum in the 2 meter band (144 MHz), the "activation" of the long dormant Advanced Class Amateur Radio License, which permits power output of 1 KW.  Meanwhile, in Germany, telecommunications authorities have approved the temporary use of 70.000 MHz to 70,030 MHz (4 meters) until 31 August 2014 for Class A amateur radio operators.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
