According to the ARRL, Canadian Amateur Radio operators will participate in the  cw-only special event on 600/630 meters, beginning 2130 UTC, 31 October 2014. The Maritime Radio Historical Society (MRHS) says it will join the event as well.  Coast station KPA will keep 500 kHz and 426 kHz active as well as HF, "with special messages, press and weather reports and will verify listener reports."  Canadian amateur radio operators gained access to the 472-479 kHz band on 01 May 2014.  Most of the activity will take place between 465-480 kHz and from 495-520 kHz.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
