Another segment of Al Brogdon’s (W1AB) popular series "A Century of Amateur Radio and the ARRL."  This time, Al focuses on the 1970’s.  Included in the article are notes about the expansion of the QST format, the beginning of "Operation Vietnamese Refugees", the growth of CB radio, preparation for the World Administrative Radio Conference 1979 (WARC-79), and the growing popularity of radio transmitter hunts ("Fox Hunts").  A very good read.  Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM).
