Version 1.1 of the Tech study guide now available – KB6NU’s Ham Radio Blog

Version 1.1 of the Tech study guide now availableseptember 28, 2014 by dan kb6nu leave a commentYesterday, I taught my first one-day Tech class using the updated question pool. It was interesting, and as a result, I’ve updated my No-Nonsense Technician Class License Study Guide. I corrected a typo, and somehow I managed to leave question T1B13 out of v1.0, so that was added. The biggest change, though, is that I’ve added a glossary of acronyms. This was prompted by one of the students who asked about several of them. While I think that in general I did a pretty good job of explaining them in the text, I don’t do it every time they appear. Hence, the added glossary. At any rate, if you’ve downloaded the study guide, but have yet to take the test, you might want to get the newer version.
