Welcome to the new MacHamRadio.com web site. We have been busy making changes and we hope that you enjoy the layout and capabilities of the new site.

In order to help you keep up-to-date with the site, we have solidified our interface to a variety of Social Media and traditional communication methods. All posts will be automatically announced on Twitter and Facebook, so feel free to follow or like our feeds/page on those sites and you’ll get the latest information as it is released. Shortcuts to both Twitter and Facebook are available at the top and bottom of each page. We have also enhanced our “share” capabilities, with one-click links for you to share your favorite posts via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and more. We can add support for more social media services if there is a need and enough support among our followers, so I welcome any suggestions.

Our email system has also been updated with the move to a professional email service. Unfortunately, due to the large number of bad/spam email addresses in our old system, we have scrapped our subscribers listing and you will now be requested to resubscribe using the interface along the upper right sidebar. All of your information will be protected by industry best practices, we will never sell your email address, we will never send you spam, and you can unsubscribe from the mailings at any time with just one click. So, feel free to sign up and see how MacHamRadio will use email to further enhance your activity on this site.

I welcome your comments, requests and suggestions. Feel free to send them to me via the email link at the top of the page, or via the form on the Contact MacHamRadio page.

Again, welcome to the new MacHamRadio.com.

I found this interesting article by Dave (K3DCW) on the eham.net website (http://www.eham.net/articles/33281).  Although I don’t own a Mac computer, I can see why hams using Mac systems would prefer this site to emulating a Windows platform on their Macs.  Good luck and may you prosper.
