Leo Bodnar’s (M0XER) B-64 high altitude party balloon is still alive after three months of circling the Northern Hemisphere.  The balloon carries a small (10mW) solar powered amateur radio transmitter.  This article gives you a few links to amateur radio ballooning.  Fascinating subject.
